Abigail Midgette
Abby was a friend of my sister's and attended Northern Arizona University with her, where they were both theater students. She spent the summer in Tucson and originated the role of Lilith in A Random Act of Creation when Robin directed it for Quicksilver Productions Inc. A curvy blonde with a very obvious maternal streak, Abby was able to walk that fine line between dominatrix and fun best-friend that characterizes Lilith in the first- plus she owned her own platform boots with flames painted on them. In the second act, draped in a silver-green evening gown, she was even better as the softer, more romantic Lilith who finally wins back her long lost boyfriend, and generally speaking she was one of the strongest people in the cast. Behind the scenes Abby was a pretty likeable and friendly person, and I had more than one enjoyable conversation with her.
