Alejandro Rios
San Francisco artist and one of my former housemates, Al was a classy, soft spoken, sardonic guy from San Jose who was attending USF when he spent a year living with me, Amy Seimetz and the other unruly denizens of 2358 Fulton Street. He was the sort of guy who would go to a white trash theme party dressed as a lynched Mexican and could get away with it- largely because he was charming and sweet beyond belief. Not a bad dancer either, we discovered, after we roped him into playing Julian in the premiere production of Love Egos Alternative Rock. Julian had the least lines of all the boys, but Alejandro probably took his role more seriously than anybody else. A testimony to the artist within, if you ask me.
