Alison Oaxaca
Alison made her stage debut in Lysistrata, playing a featured
chorus role as a woman sneaking out of the Parthenon to “strip
her flax”, a line she always played for all it was worth.
Having made her film debut as an extra in Tin Cup, she went
on to pursue more roles with Quicksilver, first in The Butler
Did It! and then in The Oresteia, where she played one of Electra’s
handmaidens. After a brief stint with the Catalina Players acting
in their production of Our Town she spent her last summer in
Tucson assistant directing my rendering of Faust Part One before
moving on to life in Boston where she abandoned acting for a
new hobby: rock climbing.
