April Holm
April Holm made it into my Reed College life just under the wire, showing up for the first time at the auditions for my thesis production of Vincent of Gilgamesh. She was a bit on the soft-spoken side, but kind of stately and she had presence. I wasn't able to cast her in a role in my show, but keeping her name on a list of people hoping to do theater at Reed, I made it a point to cast her as one of the Jazz Girls in the second staging of Wild Blue Peaks, which was more or less my swan song at good old Reed. April Holm, we thank you for being part of it all.
