Ashley Zeltzer

Sweet sixteen and how, Ashley Zeltzer played a slew of tiny roles in Faust, and got to wear one of the best costumes ever made for a Quicksilver show (she later borrowed it again for her senior prom)- a pink and cream ball-gown that opened like a flower to reveal a burgundy underskirt. Dean Hepker, watching the Walpurgis night sequence in which she played a sylph, once turned to me and smiled, saying, "She really is quite delightful." We threw all that down the toilet in the next show, where she played a delightfully vile Natasha, originating the role for the first production of The Exiled and eliciting many a catcall for her skimpy but adorable outfits.
