Ben Priam
By the time Ben appeared as Robert in the OPP production of Endymion, he was one of the best known actors in Tucson, having appeared in something like fifty shows around the Old Pueblo, including a production of The Children's Hour that my sister was in, and a production of Twelfth Night that I went and saw with my friends one summer. I hit him up to play Aegisthus in The Oresteia, but he turned me down, which was just as well since I ended up casting Dean Hepker, who was excellent. A lanky, gristly sort, he had an excellent Scottish drawl and owned his own utility kilt. He was screamingly funny to watch opposite Jesse Jones as Morgan, and somehow managed to work a couple of soccer moves into the blocking.
