Cara Carr
Cara was the head of the costume department at Reed College, and came in handy on several occasions during my Reed career, loaning jackets and top hats for "Nyarlathotep" and props and costume bits for the original staging of Wild Blue Peaks. Her most deeply appreciated contribution, however, was the lantern for Urshanabi and the crown for Humbaba in the original production of Vincent of Gilgamesh, which she also made a point of attending- more than I can say for half of the Reed College Theater Department (though to her credit, Kathleen Worley was also there- shout out to Kathleen!). A really nice lady, she only got to measure me for one production, American Notes, but my navy blue suit fit like a dream.
