Hector Osorio

I first met Hector backstage at the Bay Area One Acts Festival the year I was in The Future of the Female and he was performing with the ensemble of A Woman In Armor. A friendly, chatty guy from Columbia, he broke out his best southern accent to play Brian in the No Nude Men workshop of Mathew 33:06, bringing a great deal of warmth and humor to the role.  His varied background includes roles with CalShakes' (Man and Superman), playing Angel Cruz in the Fellowship Theater Guild’s production of Jesus Hopped the A Train, Perdito in Crowded Fire’s Juan Gelion Dances for the Sun, and Jimmy Jack Bodeen in Impact Theater’s Money & Run: Episode 4.  He has also worked in various independent film projects around the bay- not bad for a guy who only started acting a few years ago. Of course, you’d never be able to tell this from the quality of his performance: a confident, collected actor, he enhances any company lucky enough to warrant his participation.
